Where to buy very wide shoes for toddlers?

Where do you buy shoes for a toddler with very wide feet?

Clarks has a limited range of ultrawide (width H) shoes, but sometimes even those are a bit narrow.

I have not found any other brand that offers wide (possibly wider) shoes, not even more expensive brands like Ecco or Geox.

I think Angulus shoes are extra wide. They are £££ though!

My eldest had been wide feet as a toddler (she still has) with a high instep - we used to buy her kickers which used to fit well. Also startrite were better than Clark's for a wide fit.

Also Primigi. I don't know if either brand goes up to an H fitting but they are generally wider than average, so might be worth a shot.

Start rite do an H fitting.

For trainers, my DS (with wide feet) got on well with Pedipeds. Nice and soft.

I only know size H as biggest, unfortunately.

Try Livie and Luca or Bobux. We got ours from Hapoy Little Soles. They were brilliant via email at helping us find the right shoes.

Some styles of Livie and Luca fitted my very wide footed child well.

Thank you all! I will check out these other brands.

My dd has H fit shoes although I think she probably needs an i! She's very wide on the toes and has a long big toe so it's hard! She's nearing five now but we used to find converse (only one width) fit her well. I still just buy Clark's mostly, but will look into the others suggested here. At least crocs fit easily for warm days!

Does any one know of any brand that makes shoes with an I width? Does that even exist?

Crocs are plastic shoes. The great advantage of plastic is that it dries immediately when you go to the pool or beach; other than that, I find it's an awful material for sandals as it's more rigid and doesn't let feet breathe.

We managed to find a couple of Geox and Ecco but they were not wide enough.

In the end we bought a pair of Nike from sportsdirect; all fabric, no leather. They are actually a bit too long, but the foot doesn't slide back and forth because the sheer "fatness" of the feet prevents that!

Basically I think it's important to find shoes which are not stiff (these are some lightweight fabric, not leather) and with a high strap that lends itself to a good deal of adjustment.
