Please recommend me somewhere to buy a decent nursing hoody!

As per title, has anyone got any recommendations of somewhere to buy a decent nursing hoody from that isn’t also maternity? I don’t have any other nursing clothes and generally just one up one down but I find hoodies a bit bulky to do this in. Budget is around £30/40 but could stretch to more for the holy grail of nursing jumpers. I’d also be happy with a sweatshirt type rather than a hoody. Many thanks Smile

Why can't you just wear a normal zip up hoody?

CeeceeBloomingdale · 15/04/2021 07:49

Could you not just get a zip front hoodie, unzip it a bit and lift top to feed? I've never heard of a nursing hoodie, but the only useful nursing clothes I had were PJs.

I can wear a zip up hoody but I have DD in a carrier a lot and if she falls asleep her face is against the zip so a non zip hoody is more comfortable for her

Seraphine do a fab nursing sweatshirt! It’s £42 I think. It has zips down each side for access and is long enough to cover your bum. There are a few colours. Highly recommend

Juno Jacks do a great variety of nursing hoodies and sweatshirts. Slightly pricey, but actually vaguely stylish compared to a lot of nursing clothes!

Hi OP, I don’t have one, but I know that people rave about the Juno Jack’s nursing hoodies. They seem to be doing heaps now, but the plain, longline ones have always got good press.

I bought a Smallshow nursing hoodie from Amazon - probably not the best quality ever but I liked it as it wasn’t too thick.

GAP sometimes do nice ones too - probably wouldn’t work for the carrier, but I have a lovely sweatshirt with poppers up the sides!

Hope your breastfeeding journey is going well. 💪🏼

Ah, great minds AaronBurrSirr!

Thank you! I’ve ordered a Juno Jack’s one Smile 7 months into breastfeeding now and still going strong 💪🏻 I’ve resisted buying anything so far as we’ve been at home so much but now lockdown is easing and the weather is getting better I thought why not!
