Is anywhere actually doing bra fits?

I've just called one store and they are only doing shop floor measures where basically I have to do the.measuring myself and no one can try the bras on.

I'm going to be in MK this week for shoe fitting so I'd like to combine the two.

@Whatwouldscullydo

I might pop into bravissimo . Worse case scenario I can order online once she's measured.

How did your fit go?

It was alright. I wasn’t as impressed as I’d been given to expect. I had an idea of the correct band size, she said it was on size lower and a cup size bigger than I thought. The bras she brought out didn’t fit, but one with the band I cup size that I thought I was fitted well! Unexpectedly, it was a Pour Moi Charnos bra. I bought it and then ordered another two (one the same, but a different colour and one slightly different) from the sale on their website. Shops like to tell us that 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra, but maybe we know more about our own bodies than we think sometimes!

I do wish we could edit posts, but even with the typos, I hope you get what I mean.

I get what you mean annie

I've had a fit like that many many years ago it was at la senza actually where somehow in the shop their stuff fitted but you Try and get anything elsewhere and you cant it just strangely doesn't work.

I'm.sorry it didnt work.out so well. I remember aviut 4 tears ago I git remeasure in JL and not only was the lady lovely and set me up with several really nice fitting bras it set up the day if that made sense. Ever since then I've managed to just order a bra in my size and it's fitted.

Given I'd been wearing the wring size for years to the point it was painful it was somewhat a relief.

Some say measure others say don't I have no idea what's best.

To the pp sorry genuinely I have no real idea given that the ones she's wearing now where also a temp lockdown fix so i don't even have a correct size to.work.from it's been that long. Last proper measure was probably September 2019..between work.amd.lock.downs it's all.been guesswork and taking the best of a bad bunch.

@fizbosshoes are the crop top bras bra sized? Thinking of getting something different for my dd, she measures about a 26c/d atm, normal crop tops aren’t quite cutting it but I’m waiting a couple of months to get her something different (in the hope her back grows!)

fizbosshoes · 18/04/2021 19:32

I've been getting xs or s ladies ones, although if your DD is band size 26 then even xs might be too big.

Passthecake30 · 18/04/2021 20:02

Thanks. I might pick up an xs one from Asda if they have any. She’s currently in 9-11 girls ones and the chest part isn’t deep enough (she’s tall) but the width is fine.
