Finally found a pair that I like, and are flattering. Finally.

Aaah which ones? I've tried so many over the last few years but they never fit me right.

MoltonSilver · 10/04/2021 14:06

If you've found your holy great of jeans buy 2 more pairs.

MoltonSilver · 10/04/2021 14:17

Holy Grail!

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 10/04/2021 14:29

If you like them and they're flattering then why would it matter if they go out of fashion?

Just buy a couple of pairs so you have a back up and wear them for as long as you keep liking them.

Drawingablank · 10/04/2021 14:32

Ooh where from? I keep trying them but just look... mumsy Hmm

Aquamarine1029 · 10/04/2021 14:35

Being 48, I don't give a shiny fuck what's in fashion. If I like them, they look good, and they make me feel good, that's all I care about. Wear those mom jeans forever!

I have the perfect pair of "mom " jeans, bought when I was in sixth form and unfortunately ruined by being relegated to decorating trousers about 30 years ago.

I couldn't wear that style out now though, they just look really dated to me. Unfortunately almost all fashions seem like a throwback to me these days Grin

I’ve had some for 3 years at least. They are always in fashion! Wide leg jeans are now back. M&S have a covetable pair with silk.

Craftycorvid · 10/04/2021 16:39

I have a whole collection of jeans in different styles. I tend to store things while they are not in style or I’m a bit bored with them, then get them back out again later. Yes, too many clothes.....

It doesn't really matter, although I'd prefer to stay fairly up to date.

I'm not a fashion slave by any stretch though. I love what I love, I'm just happy to try new things every now and then

They're the Topshop tapered mom.

I ordered six pairs from ASOS:

The topshop ones I'm keeping. The ASOS ones fit me in a very similar way, less cool colour.

The berksha ones - I LOVE the colour, but the fit was slightly off, not much, but slightly.

The other three were awful on me. With the pull and bear being just ending up being badly fitting skinny jeans
