Kirby grips equivalent for adult hair style

I just got a completely new hairstyle and am freaking out a bit about how to wear it for
Work. It’s a backward Bob- I know that’s not the word but I can’t remember the right one. So it’s right up at the nap of my neck at the back and just below chin at the front. I work in nursing so I need to wear it off my face but don’t need to do anything at the back as it’s well off shoulder height. I tried an Alice band but looked like a twelve year old. I’m wondering if there are clips or accessories that could hold small sections back without looking juvenile.

Help! I need to get something sorted before work on Monday.

Like these? These are from Accesorise. The first is14cm. The second pic, they're 7cm so perhaps better

I have been growing out a crop and use his type to pin my hair back off my face. They seem pretty secure. You can buy them in supermarkets.

I have grown out a bob over lockdown and have the tortoiseshell style as linked by libertynan . I bought some long ones and some teeny ones too. They are amazingly secure, my kirby grips went straight into the recycling!

Ah perfect @LizzieMacQueen @TeaAndStrumpets and @Libertynan that’s what I was looking for and it’s great you say they’re secure... as when my hair is straightened Kirby grips just slide right out as my hair is thick!
I’ve normally got quite long hair and just put it in a mum bun for work so this requirement for grooming is very unusual for me- but I do think it might be nice to make more of an effort and look a bit more turned-out of that makes sense.
