I have recently separated and started a new job, but after years of pregnancy, breastfeeding and a corporate work environment, I don't have much that is suitable for my new life beyond worn out jeans and athleisure!
After a truly rubbish year, I want to start this new stage positively and have money to spend, but am struggling to come up with actual looks. I would love your tips for influencers, lookbooks and/or capsule wardrobe ideas suitable for a youngish, creative and casual work environment (denim is fine, ties are not) but also tough enough to cope with small children smearing their faces on me...
I like Everlane and Uniqlo for basics, some of Sezane, Other Stories and All Saints, used to like Sandro and Reiss but they are too dressy for my new work and Urban Outfitters but now feel a bit old, but also don't feel grown up enough for Boden, Fat Face, White Stuff, Toast, Hush, or architectural enough for Cos and Arket.
