Mulberry factory shop pop up online store?

Hi, i came across this site and questioned whether it was legit or a very detailed and accurate copy fake scam. I contacted Mulberry and it seems it is a temporary measure.

Has anyone used this? What are your thoughts?

It's legit but it's massively devalued Mulberry bags, particularly the newer styles of Johnny Coca and beyond.

The traditional Alexa, Bayswater, lily etc hold their value but the newer designs are terrible quality and their resale reflects that. I buy second hand through Facebook sites like Mulberry Swap & Sell instead, all authenticated by admin & a fraction of the price.

ah ok, Im fairly new to Mulberry but have loved it since the Alana, Roxanne and Luella era. I bought an Abbey bucket bag from John Lewis and I thought the leather and build quality was great especially after I roughhoused it as a work bag for a year. It still looks perfect.

I was looking at a larger minty green Lily. Are these crap quality?

Mulberry said its a real thing, a pop up shop to serve temporarily while the factory shop and outlet stores are covid closed as non essential.

i live the other end for the country, as in several hundred miles, so would never take a visit down.

are they all bashed about as they are old stock?

Yeh it’s legit - it’s just last season or less popular colours! Neither of which I care about - beautiful bags at a beautiful price

The Abbey bucket bag is lovely (I’ve got one in the peach colour, forget what the official name is) and the quality is great.

You’re buying online so you have an automatic right to return. The less popular colours can be had for brilliant prices and that suits me because I’ve got lots of classic colours already and now I’m concentrating on ‘statement’ (if you can call it that) pieces in more interesting colours. If you love blue and they’ve got loads then you’re in luck!!

The Lily is a classic and as long as you love it you really can’t go wrong with it.

It's definitely genuine- I love the Leighton. There's always one snob saying the quality is terrible and what they have bought is better! Not everyone wants second hand bags!

Yes the Leighton is a lovely bag too! It’s on my wish list.

my abbey is in oxblood so was thinking about a brighter but still wearable but not wacky one. The antique blue/minty blue seems like a great one.

Gutted the mini Keeley in slate blue with silver fastenings is nowhere to be seen.

i did, i bought the mulberry antique blue medium lily and it is beautiful, i squealed!

i knew it would be perfect colour wise as i wear a lot of taupe, grey and navy.

it was missing the factory hardware protectors but i guess it had been tried on in the factory shop or outlet store.

it was a main collection bag as i remember looking at this colour along with rosewood and it doesn't have a "special item" sticky label on the tag.

so all in all, i feel i got a good deal. good times!

Would you be willing to post photos? I love seeing bags in situ in peoples homes, they always look so different (better, IMO) to retailer’s photos.

Totally legit and was launched during lockdown as the factory stores were shut.

You can phone the outlets and get stuff delivered too. All the outlet stock isn’t on the website.

ah, no, after i inspected it and "played" with it yesterday, husband has packed it up for my birthday and asked me to pretend i'd never laid eyes on it before. it is lovely and in daylight, exactly the same as photo on line.

Lovely! I’m having to shop for Mulberry bags vicariously through other people this year as I’ve not managed to save for one! Maybe by the time the Boxing Day sale rolls around there might be something in the fund... 🙂

ok, i will, i don't know how i will fill it but i think it looks better on my size than regular lily and i love the colour so much. hopefully i don't change my mind as it is a few weeks until birthday time.

yes, i like real life photos from a non-influencer or models in photos too so you get to see what its like in an every day setting with normal person clothes/lifestyle.

I hope your DH knows that he needs to choose suitably curated/coordinated wrapping paper/ribbon etc so that your photos will look extra beautiful! No pressure of course!
