Denim Jackets - any age?

I've finally found a denim jacket I like after years of searching. Now having a wobble that I'm too old to wear it.

One of my regrets is that I have no fashion sense at all, no idea of the dos and donts or what suits me.

So @DuckyMcDuck have you bought it?

I want a fitted one but I'm a short arse and that arse is vast so I don't know if it'll look good. Love a dress and jacket though

Tu Sainsburys has a fitted petite denim jacket in a mid blue for approx £22. I don't know about the website, but my local store had loads of stock

Of course, the weather has now changed and it's too chilly to wear it but next warm day and I'll be strutting my stuff

Honestly, I think some people at 90 might find them too restrictive, but they'd still probably look really great.

I have a denim jacket I bought from GAP 21 years ago. I wore it so much, the right shoulder became worn from my bag on my shoulder. It is tiny though (the jacket) and I have a few more pounds nowadays. I cannot throw it away though. It is something I can't let go of, and I'm not normally sentimental.

I have looked at replacements over the years but nothing is as nice or as 'denim jacket' looking.

I'm 40.

Ooh, I really like that one @70isaLimitNotaTarget ! I'm 60 and bought my last denim jacket a couple of years ago and wore it mostly over dresses. I've subsequently put on a bit of weight and that particular jacket is a bit short so doesn't quite work now - the one you've highlighted is a much better length.

For one thing, a denim jacket is a classic (and much more fun than a ‘crisp white shirt’). Also, there is NO age limit on wearing what the hell you like. If you love it, rock it.
