When/how do you apply your "holiday skin" type self tanning skin cream?

I got some Dove glow stuff (half price at Boots), cream for the face and cream for the body.

First couple of days, I put it on at night. But I found the smell a bit overwhelming in bed.

Am thinking I might shower in the morning, and put it on after that?

Also, how often to you apply yours?

So I mean it's the body cream type of gradual self-tanning, not the spray type.

You get the smell of it either way
But I put mine on in the morning , but not on a day I’m in the office , (so no one else has to get whiffs of it ) so sat or Sunday and then top up weekly , I don’t want a dark tan though so just keeping it topped up is enough for me . I don’t find the smell over whelming tho , are you sensitive to it ?

So many don't smell - I find gradual tans a faff - just use a proper one once a week. I use Cocoa Tan Mousse and it honestly doesn't smell.

Re the smell @Cooltalkin, yes I do have a sensitive nozz but it's probably because I put it on before bedtime.

@JMAngel1, yes if I'm going to have to do it a few times a week then I'm tending towards just getting the proper stuff and doing it less often... I'll try that one you suggest, if it doesn't smell.
