Replacement for beloved trainers

My dearly beloved Nikes are nearly dead... I've been looking for replacement for years in anticipation of this moment, but situation is desparate now, the soles are paper-thin from so much wear. They're ultra lightweight (more like running spikes than trainers), very soft, almost all black with a tiny flash of silver. I don't need them to have exactly the same styling but the ultralight design and the fact that they're mostly black but not clumpy at all is the main reason I've worn them so much. I bought them in LA on way back from honeymoon 4 yrs ago, and have never found anything similar. Has anyone seen anything? Please???

Are they for running or fashion?

MonkeyTrumpet · 09/11/2007 17:03

These are quite nice, but perhaps a bit clumpy

I got some Nike frees that I designed for my birthday nearly 3 years ago now.
They are soooo comfortable and the perfect colour as I chose it all myself (black with pink ticks).
They took about 6 weeks to arrive.

They're great , might have to get some for myself.
