Turquiose Shoes?!

turnbacktime · 09/11/2007 13:31

Have just had a look on e-bay but thought the combined forces of MN might produce beter results (now sitting in fear and trembling having read other style comments recently posted....!! - But why would a 17 yr old boy need turquiose heels - OK am safe then!)

Have (in moment of madness) bought black and turquiose dress from Bay - tis a halterneck and knee length, very sparkly and probably a bit ott - bt have a 'very nice' do to attend with dh! Now need to find some shoes! Thought turquiose would be nice, but its slightly impossibel to match, dress is turquiose and black - hve got the jewellary sorted curtosy of Jane Norman but struggling with shoes!

Anyone have any trusty shoe sources - heeled, pointed (but not incredably painful) toes, and nice ...?!

Thank you for any advice or help!

Might be safer to go for black, but make them fabulous, darling!

themoon66 · 09/11/2007 13:36

Wear black. Or look in Next... they have some very bright colours in there.

Good luck!

I spent the early part of the summer looking for turquoise shoes to go with a dress for a wedding. There are a lot of shades of turquoise out there but not many turquoise shoes.

I hate to say it but it was a nightmare.

In the end I found some in, of all places, New Look (I think?). It suited me as I'm only ever likely to wear them with that particular dress. They're not high though so probably not what you're after.

Ebay might be your best bet unless you've the time to trawl the high street?
