Best "leggings" style things for an older woman for just hanging about in?

Anyone recommend something for me? I don't want to pay too much (£30sih?) and mainly for indoors.

I'm mid 50s 5'10 13 stone (so a bit overweight/bmi 26), wear mainly size 14, tummy and thighs are quite chunky.

Mostly just want something comfier than jeans for hanging about the house but equally want to be able to head out for a walk/nip to the shops without having to change. I have some walking trousers i've been wearing but can't get the same anymore but wondered if sports leggings would be better. I don't want to spend a fortune but equally don't want to buy crap that is a waste of money either.

Thanks Smile

I’ve never bought leggings from Uniqlo but I bought plenty of other things so I would suggest starting there.
Their leggings trousers which a basically jeggings are very good mind.

My mum is 71 & im 44.. we both get our leggings from Primark!!

Primark will be open soon.
£2.50 a pair of normal black leggings.
I wear them for walks or home with a longer T-shirt or jumper or hoody.
I get a size 12-14 which is quite big on me & im actually 13 stone like you.

Don't know if this is your type of thing, but as you're tall I bet you'd look great in these: https://www.marksandspencer.com/jersey-animal-print-wide-leg-joggers/p/clp60497766?intid=mobileappppdpshare

Next joggers, they're not like sports joggers. £16 and ok if you need to pop to the shop. They hang nicely and come in long length. Super comfortable

I bought a pair of velvet leggings from Mint Velvet in January, I'm so pleased with them, very comfortable for lounging around in and look ok to wear out and about too.

They were about £30 I think.

Lululemon Align are amazingly comfortable and flattering. Pricey but you can often find them on sale.

You're looking for M&S Jersey tapered joggers. Like pyjamas but respectable enough to go to the supermarket in and lots of bum and thigh room.

Next do then too.

Depends on your style, but I have lots of hippy style trousers from amazon (a Thai shop I think). They're so comfortable and I wear them with vest tops in spring and summer
