Hi everyone,
I've been living in suede-soled sheepskin boots for the past few months and now I'm trying to find indoor shoes to switch to as the weather gets warmer.
I work from home in a carpeted room and I am VERY prone to static shocks. It's been a revelation to switch to suede-soled shoes this past winter and avoid zapping myself every 5 minutes.
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for lighter shoes with a suede/leather or other non-insulating sole? Most cheaper shoes have rubber soles as standard, and it's pretty difficult to filter by sole material.
I have some flimsy ballet flats that I think only have a cardboard sole, so I think that would also avoid the static problem, but ideally I'd like shoes that are a bit more robust and cover more of my foot.
Thanks!
