following on from the 'old lady knickers' who can talk to me about old fashioned 'slippy' camisoles?

you know the sort, silky or slippy fabric (ie not a cotton vest) so your a blouse or jumper hangs better and is more comfortable - plus an extra bit of cover if said blouse is sheer and you don't feel like flashing your bra.
I have some v old ones from M&S but they're giving up the ghost and I can't justify actual silk camisoles (how nice though, eh?) I just need something I can wear and toss in the wash, nothing high maintenance! All I can find is cotton or pure silk or maybe silk knit. Please help me MN!

I want this but in the form of a bra slip! Have wanted one for years.

The way were available everywhere when I was a kid. Not any more - you can only get G e shaping variety, which I don’t want

I found one on JD Williams website. Bought one black and one natural. Great under sheer blouses

I wear dresses almost all of the time, and I ALWAYS wear a slip because whatever the dress cut or fabric, it will hang better and feel better.

I use the M&S reversible cool comfort ones - they are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I think the shortest is 14" which may be a bit too long? There is also a cool comfort vest, but I am not sure it is a proper slip - it looks rather fitted.
