Where to buy cargo or skateboarding trousers for teenage DS?

DS (14) lives in cargo trousers - the lightweight ones that you buy in places like Mountain Warehouse. He's a keen skateboarder and he particularly likes really lightweight fabrics that allow him plenty of movement and mean he doesn't get too hot when skating.

The Mountain Warehouse children ones that he's worn for years only go up to age 13 so they're no good any longer - and he doesn't fit the adult ones - I've tried them but the shape is just all wrong and really wide around the thighs. He's quite a slim build.

I've tried other outdoor shops like Trespass but again he's too big for the child ranges and too small for the adult. I've browsed the usual places like Next, H&M, M&S, Uniqlo, Boden, etc. but most cargo trousers I've seen tend to be a thicker and robust cotton designed to be quite heavy duty rather than the more lightweight ones designed for hill walking.

Does anyone know anywhere good to get these types of styles for teenagers in a lightweight fabric? Or other good skateboarding trousers? Appreciate any suggestions! Thanks.

13 is a really difficult age for boys clothes. Try to find shops that sell XS in men’s.
My son is a skater, although he’s 18 now. He gets a lot of his clothes from Route One and Note skate shop.

M and M direct is quite good for cheaper, sport clothes.

River Island

Its a while since my kids were BMXing and skateboarding I've forgotten where they used to get their kit from!
