Yes I have.

Their summer collection was good - very french colour pallette, much more muted that the pinks and whites etc I would normally go for. Great for boys esp, good prices and great quality. Have washed a treat even white trousers and stuff with sequins still look good as new.

Autumn/winter collection much better - though quite pricey. Nice items reasonable but wardrobe fillers I thought expensive eg their leggings and jersey long sleeve t's.

Definiteyl worth a look and lovely to have clothes that aren't obviously next etc and not many children will be in. Top end prices are Monsoon level I suppose.

HTH!

their stuff is really similar in style to la redoute. have bought for ds but he hasn't grown into it yet (!) sp can't comment on quality although initial impression is that it is very good.

pukkapatch · 08/11/2007 22:30

thanks. yes it does help.
ja9 is the quality similar to laredoubt? because i have not been impressed by their quality, though i do love their styles.
dazed, its mainly boys stuff i am after really. its so boring on the high street

Well definitely the summer collection was a bigger hit with boys mums than the girls at the party I hosted. I only saw the girls this season so can't comment.

Size advice would be hard to give! Generally smallish I suppose but big waists these french!!

ja9 · 08/11/2007 22:36

sorry don't know how quality compares with la redoute as have never bought their stuff...

ja9 · 08/11/2007 22:37

agree that their sizes come up a bit small.

pukkapatch · 08/11/2007 22:37

oh no! i have skinny tall boys.
where can i find stuff made for them? everywhere seems to cater for larger waist sizes, but no one seems to acknowledge that some kids arent big, but tall!

They do have adjustable waist bands on most of their stuff - but it did strike me that they are unnecessarily big!

My daughter likes her skirts long and swirly so we buy a couple of ages too big and the waists work well still. They do put comfy waist bands in trousers too.

Fat shorties are obviously the role models - pity womens shops don't follow suit

pukkapatch · 08/11/2007 22:49

yes, that would suit me perfectly too!

all ds1's trousers are adjustable waistbands, and they are tightened to within an inch of their life, and still in danger of falling of. he is not anorexic. he has colour in his skin. he has muscle tone. he runs round like a loony and always seem to have lots of energy, which is why i dont think he has an eating disorder type thing.he's just very tall for his age, and very very skinny!
