Vitamin c serum seems to be turning me orange

Does this happen to anyone else? I have used 2 different brands The ordinary and boots own brand. The ordinary is a gritty cream and the boots a clear liquid.

It must be this as its only my face that's changed colour. Well and 3 finger nails look like I smoke woodbines too, I rest my face on the back of my hand when I sleep.

I hadn't noticed until my brother in law asked if I was OK as I looked jaundiced Shock

Only been using it since Xmas.

I am getting orange fingernails with the ordinary powder which is a shame because I really like it. My face is fine though! I’ve tried washing my hands after applying but I think adding water makes it worse. Watching with interest ...

I found one vit c I used turned my fingers orange. Never experienced it on my face though.

I got the same thing from a garnier (I think) vitamin c mask. Am usually very pale. It was a bit alarming.

Am also pretty pale, wonder if that makes it more noticeable

Yep - noticed it on my hands definitely as I was putting it on before bed after bath etc. On the pillow too. My face benefits from a bit of colour so perhaps I haven't noticed it as much there :D

I use the Ordinary one which IS bloody strong - definitely tingles but very effective so all I can suggest is ration it and defo wash your hands and protect your pillow at least - not sure if you can avoid a bit of face stain! Grin
