Clinic won't tell me what filler they used in my lips

I got lip filler when everything was still open but don't like it and want to dissolve it. I like the clinic in general though and don't want to tell them I don't like it (in fact, I've already told them I really like it so I'll look like an idiot if I now tell them I don't) as I don't want to sour relationships or anything. I was hoping to get it dissolved elsewhere (somewhere else that's reputable) but they say they need to know what filler was used and how much. They aren't answering my emails even though I know they're open for some online services. Is there any filler dissolver that will work on any filler or am I going to have to woman up and ask them to dissolve it themselves when they open again?

Perhaps enquire as a new customer and ask what filler they use? If not just be honest and say you have changed your mind about the filler and don't feel it suits your face etc! I'm sure they won't care Smile

Hmm, yeah, I might try that although what if they use different kinds?

I'd go straight to saying that you are concerned about them withholding personal medical information from you.

What do you mean sour relationships? Surely they are used to clients not liking results? It is perfectly normal to change your mind.

You'll have to woman up.

Just ask directly. It’s info about you that you’re perfectly entitled to know, not state or big commercial secrets. You’ll also know what type of fillers to avoid in the future.

My dermatologist always records the brand, dose used and batch information on my record. Any reputable clinic should do the same.
