Do you rate Spanx jeans? Are they good for pear shapes?

They're pretty pricey and can't go anywhere to try them on, but I find it so hard to get jeans that fit as a short pear shape and these look like they might fit the bill.

Just wondered if anyone has them and rates them/thinks they are worth the money?

I personally struggle with anything but the lightest support spanx products because they tend to push fat up and it just looks strange. I guess you could try them from Asos (as they’re brilliant returns) before buying from elsewhere.

I am an hourglass shape with rather ample hips. I haven't tried the jeans, but I tried Spanx leather look leggings and didn't like them. They weren't terrible, but they weren't great. I found the waistband wasn't high enough, so it kept rolling down. And I also just didn't like how they looked. They were £££ for what they were imo.

That said, the jeans do look quite nice!

great tip thank you and good point about the spanx pants, they do seem to create more of a muffin top as they're so snug!

I got some from TK Maxx a couple of years ago and really liked them (so much I bought a second pair - but they were only 20 quid or so).
They were a really good shape for me (heavy thighs/bum, small waist) and the waist was a good height (I'm only 5'4", though). They didn't feel like they had loads of support which was fine, as I wanted a decent fit, not to feel like a sausage.

Thanks @selford can I ask if you have narrow or wider hips - hope you don't mind my asking, I'm on the wider side with a small waist and it's what I struggle with the most!

I definitely fit the heavy thighs/bum category though! I'm 5 foot 2, so the length is also a consideration although I've got use to rolling jeans up!

@Swoonforpeterbishop I don't mind you asking at all! My hips are 89cm, waist 72cm (35"/28"). Can't remember what size I had, though.

I have 7 pairs - yes that’s not a typo 😂
4 leather style ones and 3 Jean style ones
I’m 5ft 6 size 12 -14 but my waist is very small but I have a big ass & thighs 😂 because of my figure buying jeans was something I could never do as I just didn’t fit in jeans. I had to go up a size so I could get most jeans over my thighs and ass but then the waist would be really baggy so I never bothered with jeans
I wanted a nice pair of leather type leggings but most of what I was looking at look cheap nasty and just looked horrible on as it would wrinkle
So I bought a pair of the leather look ones and was so impressed I bought a load more

When I wear them everyone always ask if I have lost weight .
They literally make me drop a dress size in 30 seconds 😂
Mine don’t roll down when I sit down either
I have had mine over a year now and they still look as good as new .
I get a medium size in both the leather and jeans styles .

Next is good to get them as you can collect in store next day .
Hope this helps
