Grin Mine is Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque.£40 a tube and it doesn't seem to do much but it smells and feels so nice that I persuade myself that it's doing some good.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, it's expensive but what if my face falls off if I stop using it Grin

QuimReaper · 16/03/2021 10:34

Ha! I use Elemis cleanser and every time I need to top up I wonder if I'm mad, but am too scared to risk finding out! I used to have really annoying constant low-level acne and am pretty sure sorting out my contraception is why I don't any more - and am convinced acid cleansing makes a much bigger difference than cleanser - but what if that innocuous looking cleanser is the secret?!

I watched an interesting YouTube video by a well followed American dermatologist who was discussing whether this is worth it and although she points out cheaper alternatives of the various ingredients within, she (a bit grudgingly) concedes that it is rather good. I love it. Always save my boots points and then wait for a 20% off weekend.

I think there's a lot to be said for enjoying the products we're spending our money on.

kikumasamune high moist lotion
If I don't use it, my skin hates me but I have no idea what it actually does apart from be very soothing

I use that masque @BrownEyedGirl80, I buy little sachets off eBay. Been using it years and never found a dupe plus it’s properly cruelty free.

I think it’s very nourishing without being greasy. I wish they’d put it into a daily moisturiser.

It used to be ANR with me - I finally got fed up with the endless price rises and ditched it for Skin + Me which I'm loving. However I now have various night-time serums that using up but daren't pause the Skin + Me in case everything goes south!

TwoHoots74 · 16/03/2021 19:40

I'm a dermalogica therapist. You can actually massage power recover masque in if your skin is sensitive or irritated. Only of course if you like the funny colour it turns your skin!

KirstenBlest · 16/03/2021 20:33

Hair conditioner. I use it but other than my hair being easier to comb after washing, I don't think it does much. The 'clean' ones might make my hair look wavier.

millymoo1202 · 16/03/2021 21:00

I love that dermalogica mask, used to work with their products, seemingly Victoria Beckham uses it!

Lip balms!
