If you're a size 14, where do you shop for stylish but well fitting clothes?

I'm 5'2 and size 14, I have PCOS which means I carry all my weight on my stomach area and I just look awful. I have huge boobs and I'm just SICK to death of looking scruffy.

I usually shop at the likes of missguided, Zara and similar shops but they're styles are definitely suited to smaller sizes, of which I no longer am! Grin

I am a 12/14 closer to 14 since lockdown. I like: The Outnet, Ebay, Uniqlo (collaborations) Bonprix, Laredoute, Modern Rarity

M&S used to do a minimising bra not sure if they still do. Have you tried Mango OP.

Hobbs

ASOS, Next or Levis for jeans (I'm an apple shape/ carry weight on my tummy and breasts with slim slegs, bum and hips, which sounds like you - Levi 501s work on this body shape as do Next bootcut jeans) some Hush, some Fat Face, some uniqlo especially the turtleneck thin jumpers.

MrsVeryTired · 07/03/2021 19:04

I'm between a 12 and 14 and like Next, H&M (although often have to buy a 16 there Grin) TKMaxx for jeans.

Kemi Telford skirts. Elasticated waists, pockets, 3 different lengths, lovely prints. I love them and so easy to wear.

Next sculpt leggings and simply be tunics sort a lot out re chunky middle. I am also a size 14 apple.

Next t-shirt dresses and cap sleeve t-shirts also good- as are their jersey culottes (size down)

Wash brilliantly too and last ages- can't recommend them enough.

Jigsaw long sleeved tshirts with either a pencil skirt or trousers plus a blazer for work, or Boden jersey dresses.

M&S Autograph or Levis jeans.

Fatface jumpsuits for spring/summer, plus Levis denim shorts and cotton dresses from Joe Browns.

Hello!! We are very similar heights and bodies I think. First: good bra that is fitted. Mine are from Rigby and Peller but also bravissimo or Attollo lingerie are AMAZING (if you have a slim back and big boobs). I have discovered a brand called Fairlie Curved on Instagram (follow her and watch the stories she is AMAZING) where I have bought some excellent t shirts and jumpers for the larger bust. She also gives great style tips. I love sweaty Betty power leggings (size small 7/8 length) which literally suck me in and are high waisted so pull in my tummy. And for nice events I use BombshellHQ (also on Instagram) for ladies with big busts and tummies to hide. Hope this helps! Best wishes. Flowers

The cotton ones wash just fine.

I'm a 12-14 but a bit taller and a pear shape. I love Reiss, their clothes are so flattering. Marks and Spencer, Phase 8 sometimes. Next have got some shirt dresses in some ladies in my Facebook group are raving about. Petite option works best for jeans etc.

Marks jeans are very comfy around the tum when l'm bloated.
