Why do High Street stores now stock larger sizes yet failed to stock larger size swimwear

So it must be great for larger women to be able to buy clothes bigger than a size 16, yet if the average boob size is 36DD, why do they still only stock bras in most normal shops up to this size why nothing a little bit bigger?

I know you can buy nice swimwear online yet why is this still seen as an exception

Because financially it isn't viable to stock sizes which will rarely sell. If there was a big demand for those sizes, chances are that they would start selling them. IME there is greater variety in sizes in high street stores which specialize in swimwear/underwear. Normal clothes shops only tend to stock basics as it isn't their main selling point.
