Trinny London BB De-stress v Glossier skin tint

I've been working from home for the last 12 months with the odd trip into work but haven't worn a full face of make up for ages.

My normal CT foundation is looking a bit mask like and I'm looking for something with lighter coverage. My facebook is full of Trinny London videos and the BB de-stress looks good as does the glossier skin tint.

Has anyone used either of these & recommend one or the other?

I'm 54, no spots, not too wrinkly (Bit overweight so have a chubby face) but I do need something to even out my skin tone & add a bit of a glow!

I use the glossier one. Live it. Very sheer... barely any coverage but just leaves skin looking even and fantastic. Touch of cloud paint on the cheeks and you're off!
I've had a tester of the trinny distress and I don't like it. Too thick and Cakey on. But I do like the BFF spf 30 cream she does... very light.. goes on white and adapts to your skin colour. Again, just gorgeous light coverage.

I've tried the Glossier, it was a bit too sheer for my liking but De-stress looks the other end of the spectrum, quite rich. Trinny also has the original BFF which looks less heavy to me.

Brilliant thank you! Decisions decisions! Think I'm leaning towards the original BFF. 30 then!

I have been using georgio armani prima cc cream and it is wonderful. I am also early 50s and chubby ;-)

I loved the Glossier, very sheer, very fresh
But have got some Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser atm and it is just a little bit more which feels right for now but will revert to Glossier in spring I think?

I love the Glossier Skin Tint. My skin is fairly good so I don’t need too much coverage, but it evens things out and brightens it all up a bit and it’s not really noticeable - it’s ‘no make up make up’.

puppypeach · 10/03/2021 21:26

Glossier skin tint is really very sheer. It's very no make up make up almost to the extent that there is no point in wearing it

I wear the Chanel tinted moisturiser which is not cakey, but offers slightly better coverage. I think it's spf 30 too if I remember correctly

Let us know what you think of the BBF if you decide to get it.
I'm always looking on her website and YouTube channel but have not taken the plunge to buy anything yet.
Her make up tutorials on YouTube and videos on website I find helpful and good. I am interested in the eye serum and lip/cheek tint

BFF even!

I use both the Glossier and original BFF - the skin tint is extremely sheer, just evens up the skin tone - I like it a lot but probably won't re-buy as my skin needs a little more on it these days. It's fine for Zoom though.

I'm on my 3rd or 4th tube of the original BFF, it's also very sheer but because it's a cream there's more of it to spread around so easier to use IMO.

Yes I have got caught up in those videos too! Those lip/cheek pots look great as well!

I have one of the lip/cheek pots as well, the colour is lovely but it's more suited to cheeks than lips really.
