Well, like pretty much everyone I was sick of my lockdown hair and attempted to bleach it.

Hair history - haven't box dyed in years, was getting dark brown dye at hairdressers for 2+ years, switched it up and ever since she's been putting really fine highlights in my hair to bring it up.

I bought the powder, 30 vol developer and chucked it on (avoided roots as I don't want white roots). As you can see in the photo I've got a band of relatively nice blonde bits at the top (virgin hair where it's grown out) and the bottom bit is orange from the previous dye.

I don't actually want to go blonde, my aim was to have a light base colour to go crazy with and put blues and purples in it for a bit of craziness.

Anyway, any advice on what to do to even it up? I'm really not looking to go blonde and I even like the orange at the bottom, it's just the band of blonde bit around the top I'm not sure what to do with! I never seem to have even coloured hair and it's all I want Grin

Go crazy with the blues and purples as it is.

@KirstenBlest thanks! I did wonder if it would be enough to get some colour on it.

I have 2 pots of Directions sitting here Lagoon Blue and Violet... thought maybe a mix of the two might look okay?

It probably won't hold brilliantly but why not give it a go.
It's been a long time since I tried bright colours.
