Cool or too 70's?

I saw these jeans and thought they looked incredible, are they too 70's? Might be that I am slightly obsessed with how amazing Jenna Coleman looked in The Serpent. (for those who are cautious clicking on links - Sezane Martin Trousers in the Chambray finish)

Absolutely gorgeous -go for it!
As Iam five foot nothing and overweight they would look dreadful on me!

@SummaLuvin what’s the sizing like please? And do you think they’ll keep their shape if turned up?? They are gorgeous!

SummaLuvin · 25/03/2021 18:51

@Luckystar1 They state on the website for this item if you are between sizes then go down, and I agree with that. I ordered in two sizes and will keep the smaller one. I think turning up will be fine in terms of shape, by the lower calf they are wide but falling more straight rather than continuing to get wider into a flare at the shoe. Don't know if that makes sense?

Great choice lucky star, they look great in the pics.

By the way, "too 70's" for this would be fringe down the side or patches!

Standrewsschool · 25/03/2021 20:23

I’m sure they had something similar on the This Morning fashion item today.

@SummaLuvin thank you, makes perfect sense. I absolutely love them!

Now also, what shows will you wear?

SummaLuvin · 26/03/2021 08:53

Will probably wear espadrilles or court shoes with a pointy/square toe so it has a bit of style. I definitely think these jeans will look better with a touch more height, so no flats. I'm not too worried about looking like I got stuck in the 70's - I am under 30 so didn't do it the first time round!
