What do we think of cowboy boots?

I was in my local charity shop looking for books and I saw a pair in there. they are my size and still have their tags on and are unworn and look like really good quality. I have always been iffy about them tbh and was wondering if they are acceptable at all? should I run back and grab them or forget about them?

well put it this way - I would rather suggest that you go and buy a pair of crocs!....

yes they are that bad - in my eyes of course....

I was looking at mine this weekend and asking mself the same question. I concluded that they were Last Season (and some) but worth holding onto because they're still in good nick and will no doubt re-emerge in the style cycles at some point.

Not for me, just too...well just too

Oh I know but, but, but I don't know, they are kind of classic even if it is classic bad taste

don't go there

Not every 'bargain' is a bargain. Maybe should think that there is a good reason they are in a charity shop unworn....

Carmenere · 05/11/2007 16:39

indeed, they would most likely end up languishing at the bottom of my wardrobe until they were sent to the charity shop.........

I once bought a pair of cowboy boots (this is a long time ago, so go easy on me). I had a friend who looked great in hers and convinced me to buy a pair. Said friend was very tall, slim, Spanish with swishy hair and pert norks. I suspect she could have made even crocs look pretty good if they'd been around at the time.

My boots ended up in the charity shop practically unworn.

You see, I've been saved from a sartorial disaster by mn once again. The style section here is takes the place of my sisters as they live in Ireland
