I can't decide whether it looks like a bargain or whether Cotton Traders are inbeliveably naff.

Like the colour and the length is good, not too long or too short. Bargain.

I like the style, just not sure what the material will be like, being all artificial....

Personally dont like the double breasted style, it is quite unflattering to most (all?) female body shapes. Would always spend more on tailoring/jackets/coats etc and save on other things which get less wear and are not seen as your top layer IYSWIM.

I bought a jacket like that once - never wore it.

mmm ok - has anyone seen anything similar that isn't over £100? I wouldn't wear it that often tbh so don't want to spend a fortune, equally I don't want anything that is going to date too much.

H&M has lots of jackets like this for low prices but a lot of them are in black.
Principles and Top Shop also have lots of jackets and the quality is better than H&M.

Dorothy Perkins are pretty good for coats and have some lovely colours but they are a bit edgy so may date a bit.
