If you are in your 50's and have olive toned skin, what colour lipstick suits you best?

I've got so many lipsticks and they're all really similar, and I'm not convinced they even do anything for me. Please can you tell me what colours suit you if you have similar skin tones, and very dark hair/eyes.

A plummy shade, quite deep. Clinique do good ones. Almost brown.

I'm a cool toned olive so mulberry shades work well for me, basically any dark.pink with a blue undertone. You may be warmed toned though

Yes definitely a brown red shade it's all. Can offer as o haven't been out for a year

That sounds like my colouring. Oranges and corals and some pinky browns. Would like to wear red but can never find the right shade. It's difficult!

Dark Rose colours.

Charlotte Tilbury - First Dance is an example.

Brown and dark/burnt orange shades.
Dark eyes, dark side of brown, but not black hair.

Plummy or berry shades. Not too too dark for me or I look like an old, olive wannabe goth.

The CT one is lovely. I have olive toned skin, light brown hair and brown eyes and I avoid anything with any cool/blue in it. So be careful with plum shades. I would stick to things with warm/yellow bases: Roses/Brown/Brown Red/Nudes etc

Are your veins green or blue? Do you suit browns and oranges or more fuchsia and royal blue?

There was a very good thread on establishing your season the other day on S&B. Although I'm olive skinned I have a pinkness about me whereas warm tones may be more yellow in appearance.
