Quick - I have to wear a [shudder] dress and need to hold my post-baby tummy in

I have to go to a worky thing with DH and wear a dress (which I haven't done since our weeding) and am very aware of my baby-bag. So which Bridget Jones style knickers will give me a flat tummy? I don't have a fat middle, just baggy!

I'm going shopping this afternoon and want to know what to look for.

Do they work? They look a bit flimsy.

M&S magic knickers - you can get all sorts - and then support tights.

buy a size larger than you are and they work wonders and you can breath eat etc

ooh did you find some 'cos i really need some and wanna know what works (nosey smiley)

I tried on the light support ones but they didn't really come up high enough, I had a bit of a shelf above them. The firm support ones came up a smidge higher, they just about reach my tummy button, and they seem to do the job

The best for me is the ones endorsed by Trinny and Susannah -Spanx I think. They are great and I still wear when I need to hide the baby bag!! They don't roll down. I bought a size Med for an extra bit of control even though for comfort large would have been better
