Been reading a lot about Eve Lom. Is it worth it?

How much is it?

JackieNo · 03/11/2007 13:14

Haven't tried the Eve Lom - certainly the Liz Earle is gorgeous, and much more reasonable. But I think both last for ages, so are better value than they might look, iyswim.

ellehcim · 03/11/2007 13:14

On ebay about £65 for 200ml. On the official website about £80.
Apparently it last though.

I think the Liz Earle stuff is about half the price.

Then No!

ExplosiveScienceT · 03/11/2007 13:20

DH is in the industry, and he rates Olay, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, and Estee Lauder.

ellehcim · 03/11/2007 13:54

Ah Explosive - was wondering how you got your freebies!
Hand them out then if they're not being used!!

I do regularly! DH is mad at me for not using them, but I am such a sloth.

My aupairs really win out!

I would be really happy if he moved back into colour cosmetics

Tons of Estee Lauder products bring me out in rashes. I like Liz Earle.

There was a thread recently where someone said they'd used the muslin to cleanse without any cleanser, and had good results. I'll try to find it.

JackieNo · 03/11/2007 18:55

Here's that thread - and it was a baby muslin, not even the 'official' Eve Lom one.

Pannacotta · 03/11/2007 18:59

I like Liz Earle (though I haven't used Eve Lom).
Bunny friendly (no animal testing), no animal ingredients used, lovely packaging and fab, easy to use website. The Cleanse and Poish is great too of course!

RubySlippers · 03/11/2007 19:02

i have used Eve Lom
just didn't agree with my skin - it is very "heavy"

also, i just couldn't be bothered with the soaking, rubbing, hot water, cold water faff that went with it
