I have fallen in love with this Dior zodiac robe but couldn’t ever justify the price. Has anyone seen anything vaguely similar?

100 Stars

Those are lovely!

I mean, I know its not what you asked but £1,850 for a dressing gown!! Mind boggles.

The willow pattern 100 stars one is a bit similar. Or you could buy some black and white toile de jouy and make a kimono from it. Easy pattern to cut and sew.

At this rate the cost per wear might not be too bad. I’ve lived in a pretty unattractive dressing gown during lockdown 😂

Have a look at all about Audrey. They do very reasonably priced silk dressing gowns, not that pattern bough unfortunately

Thanks everyone - I'll have a look at the suggestions tomorrow!

I agree - it does seem like a crazy amount for a dressing gown @Daydreamsinglorioustechnicolor!

I think the one hundred stars ones are my favourite so far!

I got a One Hundred Stars one this summer and it really is lovely, though I’ve barely worn it as I got a kitten this summer too and he kept jumping on it with his wicked little claws. I had to put it away and now it’s a bit too cold to get it back out! Looking forward to the summer so I can get it out again.

Someaddedsugar · 18/02/2021 21:36

@NaughtipussMaximus very jealous of your kitten! Is the gown floor length? I’m trying to work out just how long it would be!

@Someaddedsugar It's below my ankles but I'm only 5'3"...

My kitten is the cutest but also the naughtiest!

Someone on here posted about Shibumi dressing gowns the other day. Really gorgeous, still pricey but a bargain compared to CD. I really want one but am on a spending ban!

Just to update, DP has very kindly bought me the Paris map One Hundred Stars robe (my engagement ring was bought in Paris so it's a lovely reference to that) as a new job present. I was quite shocked as I'd shown him the suggestions on here in a 'what do you think' kind of way and then said I was planning on getting one at the end of March! Thank you for your suggestions everyone!
