Blonde hair colour which adds colour to greys but doesn’t lighten hair

Hi,

As the title says, is there such thing as a hair colour which colours greys blonde but which doesn’t attempt to lighten the rest of the hair?

It doesn’t have to be permanent - I’d be happy with something that washes in and washes out.

I have highlights with a years worth of mousey roots, and grey is starting to come through at the front/ sides. I don’t care about the darker roots, but I’d like to cover the greys so they just look like highlights.

Does such a product exist? I don’t want anything which will lift hair colour as I know from past experience that my hair turns orange with at home dyes that lighten!

It adds temporary golden tones. There's a conditioner too. It markets itself as 'lightening' but it doesn't appear to contain any active ingredients or bleach.

I use a blonde semi permanent. My brown hair is still brown but the white hair is blonde. It looks like highlights. It fades out over a couple of months but very gradually so I don't get a harsh regrowth line. I use Natural Instincts.

Mine is getting grey at the sides in particular and I’d love to put some colour back into it

Is there a lot of grey? If only just a little then I’d go for a blonde mascara.
