I succumbed. I took all your advice and bought a size smaller than I normally am. I love it. I wanted the green but it was out of stock with a 9 week wait so I got the black (with purple spotty lining). Have had lots of compliments already.

waswondering - ooooh the blazer- what colour? I quite fancy the blazer too, really good for dressing up jeans for lunch.

Yes indeed - hankering for the green one is probably an understatement . Still haven't taken the plunge though - I was wondering if maybe better to do a size up so that jumpers etc would fit underneath - thoughts/experience?

I bought the size down - it is still big enough for a jumper underneath but I don't own any really thick chunky sweaters.
