What, why? What could possibly be the pay off? Just to be clear, we're talking about the girl who was planning to wear a pretty animal print skirt with a polo neck jumper and 200denier tights? Yeah I suppose it's the very particular details that tip you off like the exact denier reference or the 5ft9 size eight twenty year old self description. That's when I stopped reading, if some Amazonian 20year old needs their ego stroked I'm not interested but I do wonder what they hoped to get out of it?

I wondered why that thread had disappeared from my watch list.

Whilst I thought she was slightly overthinking the whole outfit/walk, I enjoyed the links and this was in Style & Beauty, a generally lovely happy place. Shame.

I found it quite life affirming to think there were still people going on dates, and getting excited and dressing up up in pretty if impractical clothing.

And I must admit I found the disapproving posts quite amusing too, even though the laugh's on me now.

You’d have to be really bored. When ifs something as mundane as is this skirt ok, you’d not think it was a troll, because it’s such a dull thing to make up. Personally I prefer a troll who makes more effort.

On the other hand it may have been someone fantasising they were going to meet someone and dressing up, so not very mentally well.

Her other thread about getting back with him etc is still live but she hasn’t posted recently...

We get so many of these "I'm young, single, super slim (always tall for some reason) and soooooo gorgeous". Always a troll. If they're 25, 6 foot tall single, childless and gorgeous, they probably don't want to ask us for fashion advice 🤷‍♀️. No offense. I know there are some tres chic people on here, but the young and single size 8s probably look elsewhere for fashion advice.

Sorry I still don't get it. Can someone please spell it out? Are we saying it's a gay man looking for amusement? A trans man looking to emulate a woman? I don't get the motivation at all.
