Slip Silk face masks

Has anyone tried these?

I'm tempted to try one but they are quite expensive so I'd like to know if they are much more comfortable than a disposable or cotton face mask.

The main thing is that restricted, warm feeling you can get while wearing a mask. Are these any better for that?

How effective are they in preventing transmission of Covid-19 virus.

That there are customs duties/tax on top of the stated price.

I thought so spongey

Riapia it's hard to say but I don't see why they'd be any less effective than the disposable ones I've got. These silk ones have a few layers to them.

Update on the Accessorize silk masks...

I wore one today to go to the post office and I found it a bit uncomfortable as it felt like the layer of silk closest to my face was going into my nose and mouth when I breathed in. Not sure if it's because I've washed it and it's not as flat / ironed as it was so the layers are not as close together...

Oooh I like the accessorize one but it doesn't have nose wire and I wear glasses Sad

I wear glasses too but it seems to fit okay. Sometimes the disposable ones with wires come up too high to my eyes but this fitted better than than apart from the issue I had mentioned above.

I made my own silk masks but I also bought some of the Uniqlo airism ones and those actually allow the easiest breathing and have all the benefits of silk masks for me (lightweight, breathable, material is comfortable and smooth, doesn't irritate skin). Don't know how they are with glasses and fogging up though.
