I'm guessing ankle boots? Not black?

Following because I have a very similar skirt and I'm not too sure either!

Brown ankle boots don't look quite right, but black looks to harsh and contrasting. I've gotten around it so far with black ankle boots and black tights and a dark grey jumper/polo neck. Not sure how to transition out of deepest darkest winter though!

Christ! NOT the shoes the model is wearing!!! Grin

I would wear black or burgundy ankle boots or possibly loafers, depending on your overall style. Good bargain.

I was going to say maybe leopard print, then I saw the model Shock so not leopard print.

I think black ankle boots & tights sound good actually.

I think tan or white leather trainers could look good once it’s warm enough to bare your legs. Agree with pp that loafers would work (but not black ones imo).

I have got a similar skirt. I wear it either with bright red shoes or with a pair of Prince of Wales heels, depending on the top I am wearing.

I have a burgundy faux leather a line skirt and I wear it with black suede ankle boots and black patterned tights, so there isn't a big block of solid black colour.

However, not ankle boots which are very tight around the ankle if you know what I mean - I really dislike those and don't think they flatter very many people. I like short ankle boots which have a bit of a gap around the ankle as i think it makes the ankles look nice and sleek.

Thanks curlytops, yes, patterned tights would work!

Don't know why I'm buying nice clothes when I'm currently living in Hush joggers.... but one day I will return to an office!

I get a two pack of Calvin Klein patterned tights from TK Maxx for about £12 and the pattern is subtle and people always comment on them. Also, they wash really well, don't ladder and last all winter.

back in the olden days when I wore tights every day for work, rather than leggings or joggers😂
