Bleached my roots and the rest of my hair looks orange!

Hi everyone I was hoping someone could tell me how I can try to make this look a bit better! I have bleached blonde hair and brown roots so yesterday I bleached my roots using the bleach London bleach and white toner all over my head, the bleach took really well and my roots went white but unfortunately my mids look really yellow/orange before fading back to blonde! How can I fix this? I did use bleach London pink wash out dye last week so could this just be the remnants of that? Or do I need to try bleach again and tone on my whole head? Thankyou!!

Bump! If anyone has any advice it would be really appreciated, I’m so embarrassed and need to fix it before next week as I’m supposed to be appearing on local telly! :(

If you're using a dye for the first time then dye your hair all over so it blends.

But from then on you can do the roots.

This is from my experience from home dying my blonde hair for years.

I'm no hairdresser but I would maybe choose a shade darker and dye the whole lot to get it to blend. I'd wait at least a week though and heavily condition before and after

It looks like the pink toner is showing up, just put Johnson’s baby shampoo on those bits and it should pull out the old toner. But it might also remove the new toner and your hair with look a little yellow. Go to a pharmacy or most supermarkets have a purple shampoo and wash it with that.

It looks lovely otherwise, and easy enough to fix from the picture.

Thanks for the advice! Baby shampoo it is then and try and tone when it’s gone! I’m lucky it’s still very soft so I think in good condition! Can’t wait to get back to the hairdresser haha

Purple shampoo left on for a little while should fix that, the roots look great for a home dye!
