Keratin / brazillilian blow dry after care products

Hi, I'm after some advice.

Post blow dry / straightening treatment what do you use to keep your hair in good condition?

I'm thinking heat protection spray, serum, hair spray and maybe a leave in conditioner? I already use the brown OGX and this is compatible.

Do I need anything else? Which products or brands do you use? My head is spinning looking at ingredients lists, is it just sodium chloride to avoid, or all sodium?

I'm desperate to sort my unruly hair out once and for all, so thank you for any guidance

I recently started using the Tresemme 7 day smooth keratin shampoo, conditioner, straightening treatment and serum. It's fairly good. My hair is thick, wavy and frizzy and I hate it. If I straighten it, within an hour it's wavy again, and not in a nice way.

With this, I straighten it and it stays pretty straight and glossy all day. I do need to straighten it every day, so not quite what it says on the tin, but still a huge improvement. I get that lovely swishy hair with this stuff.

How many days it lasts for I don't know, but I wash my hair every 3 days usually and it's good for that long.

@istheresomethingwrongwithme is your hair still frizzy and crazy after the brazillian? What went wrong? I'm desperate not to get mine wrong when I do it at the weekend

Sorry, no my hair is frizzy and wavy without using the keratin stuff. It's much straighter, smoother and glossier when I've used the keratin stuff.

It's not a permanent treatment. I looked at lots of those on Amazon but I was out off by some of the reviews - some people said they were amazing and others said it ruined their hair!

The one I've used says it lasts 7 days, I have to straighten it every day but it's still a big improvement.

I use Lisse Design Keratin shampoo and conditioner (my hairdresser stocks but bought online much cheaper!)

Then spray with Smooth and Seal by Sexy Hair after drying.

My hair stays pretty much perfect from one treatment to the next and it's changed my (hair) life!

Sorry, to be clear, I get my treatment done at the salon (when open) rather than doing the Brazilian blow dry at home.

I've never heard of the Sexy Hair range, the reviews look amazing! Is that all you use? Do you top up daily or just directly after drying?

Literally just that, directly after blowdrying. Occasionally an extra spray a few days later but definitely not daily. It's great stuff! 😀
