I'd really like some teeny little ear studs with pearls - maybe freshwater - but smaller than the usual small ones, if that makes sense - any ideas ?

I've looked on a site I use to get some of my jewellery bits from and they have loose 2 and 3 mm cultured pearls.

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 16:46

that sounds about right - the smaller the better !

I'm just looking now to find the backs for them to attach to!

NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:05

See do you want gold or silver? Do they have to be round and what colour pearl?

The smallest earring I can find is a 4mm base.

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:06

silver - so would the pearl have to be 4mm then ?

NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:07

Well yes really otherwise you'll see the backing and they'd look pants

NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:09

No no, its ok!

I have found some sterling silver 3mm ones!

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:09

! thanks for all that investigating - I know someone in my bookgroup who has three tiny ones in a row and they look very nice - will ask her where she got them

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:13

out of interest,if you made some, how much ?

OP posts:
NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:15

I could do them for £18.

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:23

mmm, that sounds ok - however, I may need to sit on it for a while as I haven;ty been paid yet for my current job -if I did want some (and I'm very tempted) could I get back to you ?

OP posts:
NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:26

Yeah thats no problem at all.
I'm giving myself a cut off from making my jewellery though in 3 weeks time as I'm 35 weeks pregnant at the moment
I'd hate to buy them nearer to my due date and then you be waiting forever.

If you do want them though, just CAT me

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:29

will do - thanks !! is your jewellery on your profile ?

OP posts:
NBheebieGeebies · 27/10/2007 17:43

Errr yes it should be.
I have made more things since then and the lovely littlelapin is doing me a little brochure to hand out

MaryAnnSingletomb · 27/10/2007 17:46
