Waxing dilemma - Opininons needed. Should I carry on feeling hairy?

The 1st time I had my legs waxed the woman told me that some hairs would break off/be left on, but to let these grow for about 8 weeks, then get them waxed again. She said they would eventually thin out and come out a lot easier with each waxing session.

I had them waxed again last week and lots of hairs (broken off) were left on, which really irritated me as I had been feeling like a gorilla for 10 weeks thinking I was doing the right thing leaving the hairs to grow long. I still have stubble now and I am beginnng to lose heart with the whole process.

Shold I resort back to shaving? Do the hairs eventually go with repeated waxing?

Sadly, no, they don't go. The smooth feeling, though, lasts longer. It's also someone else doing it, less depressing than a DIY job. Try a different operator, they may have a better technique at pulling the hairs off.

i've had crap experience of waxing too. must try to find another place to do it. thankfully the summer was pretty much non existent so my stubbly legs weren't much of a problem.
