My son gets married this summer and I'm looking for a dress. Can anyone recommend a website which doesn't sell frumpy MOG outfits? I'm 50, a petite size 12 and looking for an elegant midi dress without flounces or frills. My height and size means I need something simple, also I consider myself a young 50 so most outfits don't suit my style. I'd be grateful for any recommendations.

Kaleidoscope? I had a lovely wedding outfit from there for DSis' wedding but that's going back a few years.

Maybe a department store like John Lewis and search "evening" or "occasion" wear? There's also Coast - they do some lovely dresses that aren't frumpy

Shibumi make some very elegant dress and coat outfits if you are looking for something colourful.

John Lewis personal stylists will be doing video consultations during lockdown. Might be worth waiting a few weeks for spring/summer stock to arrive for a bigger choice
