I want big curls!

I would love to have big curls in my poker straight hair - not tight, corkscrew curls you understand!

How can I achieve this then? I have looked at these

but the rating is quite pitiful!

Any other ideas? Anyone a hairdresser?

Have you tried large rollers? Thats how we used to do it when I worked at a hairdressers

Do they have to be heated?

Do I have to wear one of those hood thingys?

ISN'T THERE ANOTHER WAY???

(Thanks Dustystar!)

those tongs are rubbish don't get them. Heated rollers the way to go.

Yes they need to be heated but you don't need the hood

The trick is to leave them in until the are cold and then take them out really carefully so that you don't pull on the hair. Then if you want curls rather than waves use your fingers to gently comb through your hair until you get the look you want.

Sadly if you have stubborn hair like my sis then no matter what you do the curls might not last long.
