Thoughts on a coat

I often read on here posts to help the Op decide on a purchase and thought I would give it a try.

These are the two coats I am looking at. I have kind of decided on the lighter one from Gant. It has a little more arrival about it than the Hobbs one. I also like the thought of being cocooned in a coat that is the colour of shortbread. Is a darker coat better though?

They not fully comparable as they are pretty different.
I’d only wear the darker one but there isn’t anything I don’t like about the lighter - just know I’d never wear it.

I like the Gant coat

I like the Jaeger one posted the best. I'm not a fan of double breasted coats as I'm busty, and I don't like belted coats either much.

The Max Mara one is lovely but if you need one now rather than waiting to save up, out of all the ones posted I like the Stories one.

That said, everything I have ever had from Jaeger has been lovely and very well made.

Definitely the Max Mara one.
