Anyone else biggish all over or struggling to dress a bigger body?

I'm on the tall side (5'9") with a big frame. I'm a size 16/18, but I like to think I wear it well, as I am naturally big. I have gained some weight lately though which really isn't helping. I am trying to lose it, but I'm more focused on health than chasing a dress size which I'm never going to be able to maintain, which is what I did throughout my twenties. Managed to stay a 10/12, but it was very hard work. I'm not built to be a size 10 really.

Would anyone be interested in a chat thread for dressing larger bodies? We could share outfit pics maybe or anything we've seen in the shops which suits bigger people?

Would love some advice from those who are a similar shape.

My main bugbear is tops and knitwear at the moment. None of them are the right length on me!

I'm wanting to create a decent quality capsule wardrobe this year, so I'm on the hunt for good quality basics which are long enough.

When I'm bigger (currently 16, a year ago was 12-14 and want to get back there, have previously been up to a 20-22ish), I prefer dresses.

Last year when I lost a fair bit of weight I loved being in jeans and shorts, with some dressed too. But now I've gained some weight back I feel more comfortable in dresses and tights.

Whatever size I am I like the Simone dresses from Fat Face. I have several!
