HELP what colour tights with this outfit?

Am going out for the first time since DS was born in Feb, to dinner with mums from baby group.

Have cobbled together a green jumper, light brown skirt, dark brown ankle boots, but need to buy some tights (pref. opaque & toasty). Can I get away with brown tights or will I look like a walking tree? If not then what colour?

I would match tights with boots, make your legs look longer. Perhaps something with a slight pattern in it, to break it all up.

Wear some chunky jewellery. Are the ankle boots pixie style of shoe/boot style, with a heel? Cos I don't know if flat boots and a skirt necessarily go?

or, not of. Durr.

They do have a nice big heel. Flat boots and my short legs def. do not go

Skirt is kinda patterned so I think plain tights?

Ok, but def same colour as boots, if height is not your thing! Don't forget you'll be sitting down for most of the evening, so your top half willl be noticed more than your bottom.

I am lolling at the image of you as a walking tree... sorry that isn't much help, but I agree with brown tights .

or green to match top,or different shade of bark brown

lol at looking like a tree
