I've just screwed up and bought a coat that is way too long. eBay too so am going to have to make it work. It's a belted wrap style. Am I going to look ridiculous or can I make this work?

I've just done very similar! Ordered a parka from whistles but it's HUGE! I've exchanged the medium for a small but suspect it will still drown me when it arrives.

The obvious answer is heels but i don't wear them.

Neither do I! We're just going to have to go around looking like we're in our dressing gowns Blush

Take it to a proper seamstress- I did the same, bought a coat from eBay, way too long. A local lady managed to take it up and in (as slightly too big) for around £30/40 so I still had a real bargain as coat was only £28!

Genius idea, I can't believe I didn't think of this! I've got one close by too!

Oh yeah I see it now! This is a bit bizarre as I didn't think I had that other username. Oh well, they were twins so I guess I can rock them both!
