Best disguise for protruding stomach? And hold me in jeans.

Since #3 my stomach has been quite protruding. I am a size 16/18, but only my stomach really, the rest of me is quite tall and in proportion.

Long term I am working towards slimming down, but in the meantime can anyone suggest as good hold me in type jeans? I wear next hypercurve at the mo which are super comfy and.high waisted, but over no support at all.

Equally, what sort of shapes and outfits are good for disguising/concealing a tummy without making the wearer look pregnant?!

Slim fitting high waist jeans/jeggings and a long and loose top is best but not empire line that makes you look pg as you describe. I have some primark and h&m tops/jumpers which are a big square shape if you laid them flat. This works for me. Also I ignore the sizing and pick what I think is roomy enough for the look I want.

Also (I am a double c section tummy) I find actual jeans a bit shit with support as they arnt elastic enough. I need jeggings type trousers. M and s shiny faux leather leggings are amazing and not as try too hard looking with the right top. Also had success with various jeggings type items from matalan who seem to have realised that high waisted with a deep elastic waistband is what women want!
The actual best suppprt I have is next super thick stretchy leggings but they aren't comfy just arduous.

Meanwhile I now have some amazing high waisted no vpl knickers from marks which smooth out the outline without feeling like a girdle. I wore them with tights and a stretchy dress xmas day and actually felt really great without drowning my whole tummy area.

I have a pair of Gap jeans that offer support and don’t press on my c section scar too much (3 months in!). Really comfy.

Not what you're asking but I had the same problem, and a few months ago I downloaded the Every Mother app. You have to pay but the difference it's made to my tummy is amazing - my jeans were too tight and really uncomfortable on the waistband and now they're too loose. It's 10 minutes every day then an extra 15 minutes every other day or so. I started seeing results after a couple of weeks. Might be worth looking into?

Thank you, I'll investigate 👍👍

I find f&f jeans very good - think they are called contour jeans or something similar. I wear them with a slightly longer top which skims over my stomach - nothing too oversized or I look huge 😑

Sailor style? It has like a bib front that holds me in. I just bought Boden Sailor style Jeans and they fit amazing.

Bought in black which is slimming on me.

With tops, I think tulip shape works better than smocky style. White Stuff are particularly good for this shape.

Check out Salsa push in jeans, I absolutely love this brand.
