Sweaty Betty leggings-how should they fit?

Just that really. I ordered a pair of Power and Zero gravity leggings in the sale. They have come today and I have tried them on. They are very snug on me but are comfortable and not cutting in at the waist or anything. But I do have to really pull them up my legs and kind of gently tug them in to position at the crotch, much like with a pair of tights. Does this mean that they are too small or is this how they should be in order to stay in place and “sculo? I’m conscious that when I do this with normal leggings it eventually results in holes along the seams in the inside leg/gusset area and obviously I don’t want that to happen with these!

I have one pair of sweaty Betty leggings and never usually have to pull them up. Need to jump about to get them on but once they are on they don’t budge! They are very comfortable. I’m a size 6/8 and my leggings are a size xs

I have 2 pairs. It is almost the same as putting on a pair of tights. But when they are on, unlike a lot of tights, they defy gravity and stop put.

What they said ^

I do have to do a little wiggle to get into mine but once on, they are perfect.

I'm a size 12 and wear a medium in SB.

Have you tried the All Day leggings? Omg. Possible the comfiest things I've ever worn.

Rollergirl11 · 31/12/2020 16:15

Yes I mean to get them on I have to pull them up and position them correctly like you would a pair of tights. I don’t have to keep pulling them up once they are on. They are skin tight once on and its difficult to pinch the fabric away from my skin. Is this the same for others or should they be looser?

I’m a size 10 and I ordered the Small.

I‘m also a size 10 and have the small - I think they do need to be snug in order to be sculpting. I run in mine, so like that they fit almost like compression leggings. I think the key is how comfortable they are once on though? Mine do feel snug, but more in a supportive way and they are so comfy I could happily keep them on all day.

StarlightLady · 31/12/2020 16:33

They shouldn’t be looser. Providing you are comfy in them, the fit sounds right. And they keep their shape after washing.

Rollergirl11 · 31/12/2020 16:57

I haven’t had them on for a long period but they did feel comfortable and didn’t feel like they were too tight at the waist or anything. And they did feel tight in a supportive way rather than an unforgiving way. So I’m hopeful they are the right size for me.

It sounds like the right size. I'm size 6 and order XS.

emmalou19 · 31/12/2020 17:09

I agree they sound about right, I'm a size 10 and wear a small. I've got 3 pairs and could live in them, they wash really well so they will last!

ginandwineandbaileys · 31/12/2020 17:24

I'm a size 8 and wear xs, I don't need to tug harder than with any other leggings to get them on. I find that the power leggings are looser than gravity, and I have to tighten the waist on peers otherwise I can slide my hand in the back of the waistband. I love super sculpt leggings, they are like compression leggings.

ginandwineandbaileys · 31/12/2020 17:25

I do not tighten the waists of my peers 😀, I tighten the waists of my power leggings

Rollergirl11 · 31/12/2020 18:00

I’ve got them on now and they are really really comfy. The only other thing is that the pair I have on now (zero gravity), the fabric/pattern does go a teeny little bit see-thru at the knees when they’re bent and also a little bit on the bum. I don’t think it’s obvious and not sure anyone else would spot it. But wasn’t really expecting that for the money...?

The zero gravity leggings are for running in particular and generally aren't squat proof ie they are a bit see through when you bend or squat. The power leggings are much less see through. The website tends to say how squat proof they are.

I’m really tempted by the Gelidity jumpsuit, so any SB fans have it already?
