no to all black and brown feet. where are your coloured tights? my colleague has some lovely purple ones from primark about 42000 denier.

drinkmoretea · 24/10/2007 21:16

I have brown tights, but they would look odd wouldn't they? I have grey boots too but a bit high, they are both kne high. Unfortunately my legs are different sizes so I rarely get knee highs to fit, infact these are the only two I have ever found. Would love a black pair :-(
brown boots are lace up slight fur inside boots, flat....

these furry boots, how high up leg do they go?

what is occasion and why is jacket neccessary? blazer i believe is currently fashionable and would go nicely.

drinkmoretea · 24/10/2007 21:48

could you wear a tight sleeved long sleeved jersey type of top under the frock? would that work?

boolepew · 24/10/2007 21:54

What about another knitted cardi, long or short. No to brown furry boots.

drinkmoretea · 24/10/2007 22:05

oh god, I think I'll just take it back to the shop, this is a pain :-(
Its a polo neck (quite big) short sleeved, so I dont think I could wear a top underneath, would the black ballet pumps shoes be better?
Guess it goes back to the shop tomorrow.. I hate clothing probs like this.

Ballet pumps are good. i bought a lovely grey knitted jumper dress from m&s. put it on and looked like a heffalump, had to take it back

dressedupnowheretogo · 24/10/2007 22:14

ballet pumps and a short swing type coat with a funnel neck and trapeze arms

spottyshoes · 24/10/2007 22:24

Oh yeah a swing coat would be good. They are doing them in Primark for £10. You could wear all black dress, tights & shoes but a colourful coat. I'm very into black and red at the mo. You could also accessorise, put a big colourful belt/bag with the dress?

crunchie · 24/10/2007 22:27

I bought this yesterday and it is fab, It goes over suits and dresses and jeans etc. GREAT colour to Jazz up black

boolepew · 25/10/2007 17:46

Just checked Peacocks online (sorry technophobe - can't do link!) They have some lovely short a-line macs, red and jade. Might have to nip out at the weekend.

drinkmoretea · 25/10/2007 21:37
