I've got a VIP slot for 6.30 tomorrow, does anyone know when the sale actually starts?

I usually get all excited at the sale preview, count down the minutes like it's midnight in 1999, pen and credit card at the ready .... and then 'pop', like a cheap firework from Lidl, all that's left as 'Kylie' pillowcase and a Christmas bauble with the letter F on it!!

So, do I pour myself a snowball at 6.25 tomorrow, or take the dog out for her nightly walk?!! Anyone??

Had 3pm and spent around £200, though I imagine about 25% I’ll end up returning! Mainly clothes for DC and some work bits for me to accommodate my lockdown weight gain 🙈

I had a 4pm slot, it’s my first VIP sale so wasn’t sure what to expect. The home bits I’d marked had all gone (just a few fun Christmassy bits for next year so no biggie) but I got nearly all the clothes I wanted for toddler DD and some socks for DP so I’m pleased with that. Spent £60. Got so excited I managed to order it all twice tho!

@Sceptre86 I think it just takes a while for it to go through their system during the sales. I haven't had one either but expect one will turn up tomorrow.

Sceptre86 · 21/12/2020 19:44

@canyon2000 thanks, I was getting worried I might have to do it all again.

S0CKS · 21/12/2020 19:59

Well that was a pile of shit.
I got two bits I liked that was in stock, but in 5-6 weeks which in my experience means I won't get them.
I have brought F all - nevermind!

I managed to get t-shirts and trainers for my boys. Work dresses for me. White stuff jumpers. £200. Not a bad shop

IggyAce · 21/12/2020 20:48

I’ve ordered quite a few bits but I can guarantee the majority of the stuff I ordered for me will end up going back.

XmasNCTaDa · 21/12/2020 21:49

I hopped on at teatime and got an 8pm slot. In between dealing with unsettled children and sorting washing I ordered £75 of stuff. Baby outfits for newly arrived nieces and a mixture of tops and trousers for my oldest.

I’m lucky to have been able to keep a lot of my eldest and middle son’s clothes so I concentrate on buying for my oldest. But annoyed at myself for dithering over sizing just before checking out as it meant the multipack of older boys gloves went out of stock while I was swapping sizes.
Not the end of the world I know, but as he’s prone to losing them I was pleased to see some for £1.50!

PatchworkElmer · 22/12/2020 09:58

I had a 2pm slot and got most of what I was after. Spent about £250, but I reckon £100 of that will go back (work dresses for me and shoes for DC- not sure they’ll fit). I don’t think it was a good as previous years- I used to buy DC’s entire wardrobe for the following year! This time around it was very much a few nice bits.

canyon2000 · 23/12/2020 11:38

Just had an email from Hermes and my sale order is arriving today!

mnahmnah · 23/12/2020 13:08

I’ve had 1 item delivered today...

PatchworkElmer · 23/12/2020 14:04

I’ve had an email to say that 1 item of mine is arriving today too!
